The Boulders was developed and built by Pulte homes between 2012 -2018 with approximately 300 homes sites. The builder offered 12 different floor plan options with several different elevations to choose from. All of the homes in The Boulders have concrete tiled roofs with a stucco exterior. Many of the houses here show a classy stacked stone exterior accent as well. The homes here are nicely appointed, and many show all the bells and whistles the builder offered. It’s important to know that these homes are all Certifed NM Build Green “Silver” this assures energy efficiency and built with sustainable materials.
You will find a wide range of floor plans to consider. The smaller end is a 1550 sq.ft home with three bedrooms and two baths while on the opposite end of the scale is a 3370 sq.ft model with six bedrooms and four bathrooms. About 2500 square feet seems to be the median range.
What’s Nearby?
The Boulders neighborhood is in the Paradise West area of Albuquerque. The Boulders has a quiet and out of the way feel for the residence here, yet offers some great 
amenities, shopping, and conveniences are nearby. Just a mile West is the Paradise Hills Community center. The center provides an excellent skate park, community pool, and lots of lush park grass. The Paradise little league ball fields are next to the park.
A convenience store is at Paradise and Unser; two different Walgreens, a Blakes Lotta Burger, Little Anitas, KFC, and several others, are within quick access. The US Post office on Paradise Blvd just East of Golf Course Rd.
The Boulders community has easy access to major travel arteries, including Unser Blvd, Paradise Blvd, Golf Course Rd, Paseo Del Norte (one of five river crossings). The City of Rio Rancho is just 3 miles North and the new Presbyterian Rust Medical Center. Many other medical, professional office are all within easy driving distance.
The Schools
The Boulders community is in the APS or Albuquerque Public Schools. Sunset Elementary and James Monroe Middle School are both immediately West of the subdivision.
So the kids can easily walk to school. The high school student would attend Cibola High and would require light travel. The Albuquerque area offers several Charter and Private Schools to choose from as well.
